Ben Cebuliak is the Manager Movement and Place at Transport for NSW where he leads the development of a whole of NSW Government framework for planning, assessing and operating roads and streets across NSW. Ben has more than a decade of experience in urban planning and policy development. He has worked as an urban planner within the public, private and research sectors at the federal, state and local levels in both Australia and Canada.
At Transport for NSW Ben has developed long term transport planning for NSW including the Future Transport 2056 strategy, Tourism and Transport Plan, Long Term Transport Master Plan and Sydney’s Cycling Future. Ben has previously led the Transport for NSW Active Transport team and Regional Transport Strategy.
While working for the Australian Government’s Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, Ben was involved in preparing the airport components of the National Aviation White Paper, the National Urban Policy and associated State of Australian Cities reports, the Australian Urban Design Protocol and the Australian Government’s policy on Walking, Riding and Access to Public Transport.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys exploring the neighbourhood with his 2 year old daughter.
