Mark Harvey is a research economist at the Bureau of Infrastructure, Transport and Research Economics and CBA workstream leader for the Australian Transport Assessment and Planning (ATAP) Guidelines.
He has developed significant parts of the ATAP Guidelines. Last year he completed a research report on the economics of road maintenance. He directed the ATAP willingness-to-pay project, which involved a nationwide stated choice survey. His current and final project before retirement is about valuing road improvements in remote and regional areas.
