About the Speaker
Rhys Thomson is a Director with Rhelm with over 20 years of experience in economics and engineering. Working across Australia and the wider Asia Pacific, his combined skillset gives him a unique insight into projects and bridge the gap between disciplines. His economic skills include both environmental, social and transport infrastructure, while his engineering skills cover natural hazards, flood risk and environmental design. He provides advice on natural hazard economic impacts, specialist monte carlo assessments and climate change adaptation.
In addition to his project work, he contributes to the industry through numerous conference papers, input to specialist guidelines and industry panels.
