About the Speaker
Matthew Jones is currently Director of Economics, Benefits and Evaluation in the investment and assurance team of finance in Transport for NSW. He is responsible for providing CBA guidance for major and minor projects across Transport as part of the Business Case process.
His team is also responsible for advising and providing guidance to project teams on the post completion evaluations (including Gate 6) as well as helping to put together BRM plans / Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks. Matthew has been in the investment assurance team for 5 years and previously lead the transport modelling team working on providing advice to business case teams and inputs to CBAs. Matthew has worked in Transport, various rail agencies and at one time the Department of Planning. Prior to this he worked as a consultant economist.
