Bookings: To book on-line, please go here About the Speakers: Gladys Berejiklian, Treasurer, New South Wales Gladys was elected to the NSW Parliament on March 22, 2003 as the Member for Willoughby. Following the election of the O’Farrell Government in March 2011, Gladys was appointed Minister for Transport. Following the election of the Baird Government in March 2015, Gladys was appointed Treasurer and Minister for Industrial Relations. Since April 2014, Gladys has served as Deputy Leader of the NSW Parliamentary Liberal Party. Gladys is a Master of Commerce graduate from UNSW and prior to entering Parliament worked as a General Manager for the Commonwealth Bank. Gladys has also completed studies in Government and Public Administration (B.A., Uni. Syd). Stephen Knight, Chief Executive, NSW Treasury Corporation Stephen is Chief Executive of NSW Treasury Corporation (TCorp), the central borrowing authority for NSW, which is the largest of the Australian state economies. TCorp has a balance sheet of around AUD$78 billion and an annual funding programme of around AUD$6.7 billion. TCorp also manages debt and asset portfolios on behalf of more than 140 client authorities. Stephen joined TCorp in 1996 with 16 years experience in financial markets in the banking and investment banking sectors. From 1992 to 1996 he was Head of Treasury and Capital Markets at Union Bank of Switzerland (Australia).
