Paul Krugman is an American economist who won the John Bates Clark Medal in 1991 and the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2008. He is Professor of Economics and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, Centenary Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Distinguished Scholar at the Luxembourg Income Center at CUNY. As a columnist for The New York Times since 1999, he has written for a broader audience on a wide range of economic issues including as written on a wide range of economic issues including income distribution, macroeconomics and international economics. He is the author or editor of more than 20 books including End This Depression Now!, The Return of Depression Economics and the Crisis of 2008 and The Conscience of a Liberal.
