6th Warren Hogan Memorial Lecture

6th Warren Hogan Memorial Lecture, Building Australia’s infrastructure for the future, with keynote speaker Annabel Spring (BEc Hons ’92, LLB Hons ’94), Group Executive Wealth Management, Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
It’s now clear that low interest rates alone will not be enough to stimulate quality economic growth, and in a time of budget restraint governments are reluctant to embrace more debt. There is a way forward: innovative approaches to finance strategic government investment in infrastructure can provide major business, economic, and social benefits for Australia both immediately and over the longer term.
Annabel Spring is a graduate of the University of Sydney and holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where she graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar.
Annabel joined CBA in March 2009 as Group Head of Strategy, moving over to head up the Wealth Management division in 2011. Annabel was previously Managing Director and Global Head of Firm Strategy and Execution at Morgan Stanley, playing a key role in navigating the bank through the global financial crisis.
Annabel sits on the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army Australian Eastern Territories, and is a Co-Deputy Chair of the Board of Directors of the Financial Services Council.
