What drives cigarette consumption among older adults? Does smoking cause or exacerbate health issues for elderly adults? Are government policies effective in reducing cigarette consumption?
In our next installment of the Lighthouse Lecture Series, Distinguished Professor Kajal Lahiri, University at Albany, State University of New York, will explain the key contributing factors that drive smoking behaviours and discuss the associated health consequences for elderly adults. Special attention will be focused on evaluating the effectiveness of various government policies in reducing cigarette consumption.
