Andrew Leigh would like to invite you to the launch of his new book “Fair Game: Lessons From Sport for a Fairer Society and a Stronger Economy”. The book draws on lessons from sport to discuss competition, education, discrimination and job participation.

The central message of “Fair Game” is that innovation and equality can go together. The book contents that over the past generation, the Australian economy hasn’t matched the performances of our top sportspeople. Productivity is in the doldrums, and student test scores are falling. The business start-up rate has dropped, and markets aren’t as competitive as they should be. For all its imperfections, sport can provide an example of how we might improve.
