CEDA Economic and Policy Outlook: Remote Work in Australia & Clean Energy Precincts
The Committee for Economic Development of Australia ('CEDA') is an independent, membership-based think tank. CEDA’s purpose is to achieve sustainable long-term prosperity for all Australians.
At this seminar, CEDA Economists James Brooks and Liam Dillon will present recent research on two topics:
- Remote work in Australia – Tensions have risen between employers pushing for return to office polices, and employees wanting to work flexibly. What is the current evidence about the productivity effects of remote work, and how has widespread adoption of working from home improved participation for certain workers?
- Clean Energy Precincts – Amid an environment of increasing government intervention both internationally and at home, governments must be strategic in their support for clean energy opportunities in Australia. How can clean energy precincts play a role in capturing emerging opportunities in the green economy?
This event is online only (the Zoom link will be automatically emailed out to you once you have registered).
