Introduction to Cost Benefit Analysis
Cost Benefit Analysis ('CBA') is the preferred tool to support government decision-making for major projects, policy proposals and, in many cases, a mandatory requirement for expenditure approval.
Introduction to Cost Benefit Analysis is an in-person one-day course that provides a grounding in CBA principles and tools for anyone writing, reading, reviewing, or commissioning CBAs.
No prior knowledge of CBA or economics is required. A brief pre-reading pack and participant pre-survey will be sent out beforehand to ensure course content is tailored to attendees' needs. The day will build participants' competency with worked examples, hands-on exercises and contemporary case studies. Click here to see the agenda.
All are welcome to register for the course, you do not need to be an existing member of ESA NSW Branch.
