DESCRIPTION:The Economic Society of Australia (NSW Branch) invites young economists to participate in the Emerging Economist Series in 2015/16.  The series of six luncheons\, held at the Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney\, gives young economists the opportunity to discuss critical issues with prominent Australian policymakers\, as well as network with colleagues in business\, academia and the public service.

The luncheons include an interview-style discussion with the key-note speaker\, exploring the policy issues they have faced during their careers and highlighting Australia’s key economic challenges going forward.

The line up of guest speakers will be

	Professor Max Corden (Friday\, 11 March 2016)
	Peter Costello AC (Thursday\, 24 September)

Time               12.15pm for a 12.30pm start\, with luncheons finishing around 1:45pm

Venue             Reserve Bank of Australia\, Level 20\, 65 Martin Place\, Sydney

Cost                $880 or $660 for two or more  (inc. GST)\, for all six luncheons\, including two-course lunch and drinks

TERMS &amp\; CONDITIONS

Registration is for one person to attend all six luncheons in the Series. The registration is transferable to a different person\, although one week’s notice prior to a luncheon must be provided.  Delegates will be able to register for the Series up to 14 August 2015.  Registrations will not be confirmed until the correct payment is received.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations can be made up to 7 August 2015 for a full refund.  Refunds may not be made after this date or for luncheons not attended.
