Between 2000 and 2023\, the Australian economy nearly doubled in size. But have&nbsp\;we have made any real progress towards sustainable prosperity? What does the data tell us\, and what would sustainable prosperity look like?&nbsp\;We use a simplified statistical&nbsp\;approach to address these questions.&nbsp\;

Steven Hail is an Associate Professor at Torrens University\, and Economist at Modern Money Lab. He is the author of the 2018 book&nbsp\;Economics for Sustainable Prosperity.
