Communicating Economics with Impact
A practical workshop for early‑ to mid‑career economists and policy professionals and university students. 
The Economic Society of Australia (ESA) NSW Branch is pleased to invite members to a hands‑on\, skills‑focused workshop designed to strengthen communication capabilities in applied economics and policy roles. 
This session is delivered in collaboration with the Young Economists Network (YEN) of ESA NSW.
Led by Professor David Orsmond\, the workshop will focus on the communication skills economists rely on every day but are rarely formally trained in. 
Participants will work on:

Clarifying key messages
Translating technical analysis into plain English
Structuring clear\, persuasive arguments for decision‑makers

The session will be highly interactive\, with practical exercises and tools that participants can apply immediately in their day‑to‑day work.
