Election of President, Secretary & Treasurer
The election process is now complete.
Only one nomination for each of the three positions on the ESA's National Executive was received, as such, no election is required. The following people have been hereby elected:
President: Bob Breunig
Secretary: Aneeq Sarwar
Treasurer: Russell Ross
The new executive will take office for a 3-year term, commencing 25 August 2025.
The current Executive terms finish on 31 August 2025 and the roles of Central Council President, Secretary and Treasurer will be up for election.
Election Process
For the roles of Treasurer and Secretary only members with voting rights on Central Council are eligible to vote. For the role of President all financial members of the ESA are eligible to vote. All elections will be administered via the Survey Monkey platform. There will be a voting window of 5 days, ending on 5:00pm (AEST) 29 August 2025. The outcome of every election will be announced as soon as practical after the end of voting.
The time line is (5:00pm AEST on each date)
- Nominations will be accepted from members from June 09 to June 23. The nomination forms will be available on June 06
- 23 June 2025: deadline for nominations to be received.
- 24 July 2025: Update on the number of nominations for each role sent to all members, including details of any voting that will be required.
